{"id":796,"date":"2022-03-25T12:05:27","date_gmt":"2022-03-25T15:05:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sanatoriodelsalvador.com.ar\/saludfemenina\/?post_type=notas-de-interes&#038;p=796"},"modified":"2022-03-25T12:25:02","modified_gmt":"2022-03-25T15:25:02","slug":"26%c2%b73-dia-mundial-de-prevencion-del-cancer-de-cuello-uterino","status":"publish","type":"notas-de-interes","link":"https:\/\/sanatoriodelsalvador.com.ar\/saludfemenina\/notas-de-interes\/26%c2%b73-dia-mundial-de-prevencion-del-cancer-de-cuello-uterino\/","title":{"rendered":"26\u00b73 D\u00cdA MUNDIAL DE PREVENCI\u00d3N DEL C\u00c1NCER DE CUELLO UTERINO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>En el D\u00eda Mundial de la Prevenci\u00f3n del C\u00e1ncer de Cuello de \u00datero, queremos concientizar e informar sobre la importancia de realizarse anualmente los controles ginecol\u00f3gicos para prevenir y detectar de manera temprana este tipo de c\u00e1ncer con un diagn\u00f3stico oportuno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El c\u00e1ncer c\u00e9rvico-uterino se forma en los tejidos del cuello uterino, puede no tener s\u00edntomas, pero se detecta realizando un estudio de Papanicolaou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La principal causa es el Virus de Papiloma Humano (VPH) que se transmite por contacto sexual. En la mayor\u00eda de los casos el virus desaparece sin causar s\u00edntomas, pero una proporci\u00f3n de mujeres, de alrededor del 5% de los casos, desarrolla lesiones que con el tiempo pueden convertirse en c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todas las mujeres tienen riesgo de contraer c\u00e1ncer de cuello uterino. Este c\u00e1ncer se presenta con m\u00e1s frecuencia en mujeres mayores de 30 a\u00f1os de edad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan datos de la OMS, el c\u00e1ncer de cuello de \u00fatero es el segundo m\u00e1s frecuente entre las mujeres de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, se estima que 83.000 son diagnosticadas anualmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La principal causa de muerte por c\u00e1ncer entre las mujeres es el c\u00e1ncer cervicouterino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CLAVES PARA PREVENIR Y REDUCIR EL RIESGO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Vacuna contra el&nbsp;virus del papiloma humano.<\/strong>&nbsp;Recibir una vacuna para prevenir la infecci\u00f3n por&nbsp;virus del papiloma humano&nbsp;puede reducir tu riesgo de c\u00e1ncer de cuello uterino y otros c\u00e1nceres&nbsp;relacionados con el virus del papiloma humano.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Es importante recordar que desde el a\u00f1o 2011 en Argentina, se incorpor\u00f3 al calendario de vacunaci\u00f3n, la vacuna contra el VPH para todas las ni\u00f1as de 11 a\u00f1os nacidas a partir del a\u00f1o 2000 y luego en 2017 se ampl\u00edo para todos los varones de 11 a\u00f1os nacidos a partir del a\u00f1o 2006, recibiendo la vacuna tanto las ni\u00f1as como los ni\u00f1os de esa edad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Realiza tu examen anual de papanicolaou.<\/strong>&nbsp;Esta prueba puede detectar afecciones precancerosas en las etapas iniciales, de esta manera pueden ser monitoreadas y tratadas para prevenir este tipo de c\u00e1ncer.<\/li><li><strong>Mant\u00e9n relaciones sexuales seguras.<\/strong>&nbsp;Toma medidas para prevenir las infecciones de transmisi\u00f3n sexual, como usar un preservativo cada vez que tengas relaciones sexuales y limitar el n\u00famero de parejas sexuales que tengas.<\/li><li><strong>Evita fumar.<\/strong>&nbsp;Algunos estudios sugieren que las sustancias t\u00f3xicas del tabaco afectan la mucosa cervical. Adem\u00e1s, perjudica la acci\u00f3n del sistema inmunitario a combatir las infecciones por VPH.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Es importante destacar que las lesiones precancerosas no suelen dar s\u00edntomas, sin embargo, ante algunas de estas se\u00f1ales es fundamental consultar con un profesional:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sangrado vaginal fuera del ciclo menstrual.<\/li><li>Flujo vaginal sanguinolento.<\/li><li>Dolor y\/o sangrado con las relaciones sexuales.<\/li><li>Dolor p\u00e9lvi<em>c<\/em>o.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prevengamos el C\u00e1ncer de Cuello de \u00datero.
